Debbie's project chair is a traditional kitchen chair with an untraditional weaving pattern
.The pattern is a very cleaver one that is quite unique. It is a six over / six under side weave pattern that was not consistent on each side.
With patience and time, Debbie got the front to back loops perfectly spaced so that the side to side weave completed the 6 / 6 pattern.
BEFORE pattern had a three over on the left side. Also note that the back rail did not have a spacer rap between the sets of six.
AFTER shows the six over / six under pattern without the three strand left set. Note the rap on the back rail was added.
BEFORE seat failed on the front rail. Note the six over pattern on the left side and the three over pattern on the right. The uneven pattern on the front rail has been changed.
AFTER seat is finished and ready for many more years of use. Over time, the material will spread and reduce the open spaces. Note the rap around spacers on front rail match on both sides.
