Hand Cane Chair

Pat's project chair is an interesting old turn of the century chair. It has some hand carving and inlay. Unfortunately, it had been painted several times. Pat removed most of it and applied an old antique white finish. This chair has a hand caned back as well as the seat. She commutes all the way from Dublin each Thursday for the class.!!! Dublin, Texas.

Midway: To date, Pat has completed the fourth step on the seat and the second step of seven on the back of the chair. This is good progress. It takes approximately 12-16 hours for an experienced caner to finish just a seat. Pat has spent about 10 hours so far for both the seat and back. Ya'll check back and see the finished project.
